Photogrammetry of Nájera Caves, La Rioja, Spain.

Nájera Caves are known since 11th century serving as shelter site on ancient war times, as well as warehouse, but investigations suggest a previous origin. Were even used as jail along XIX century. Its difficult access (the only entrance was through the facade, through ropes) gave security to its users in dangerous ages, over thousands of years.

At the moment visits are restricted, but it is possible to make a virtual immersion thanks to the Oculus Quest standalone VR. Processed with Capturing Reality , composed in Unity Technologies , also running in Oculus VR Quest.

Work in collaboration with IRALTA VR & AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION and VIA Medioambiente y Cultura.
